The 2020 Zhejiang Export Online Fair (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt - Machinery and Electronic Parts) hosted by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province successfully concluded on August 28th , 2020. This fair lasted for 12 days from August 17th to August 28th. A total of more than 50 professional purchasers from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Egypt and more than 50 Exporters of Machinery and Electronic Parts from Zhejiang Province have conducted more than one hundred online one-to-one online negotiations and online exchanges through the digital cloud system.
With rapid growth, Exports of Zhejiang Machinery and Electronic Parts have supported half of the economy of the entire province, and it is an important part of Zhejiang's foreign trade. Although continuously affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, as a traditional big Export province in China, Zhejiang economy started to pick up, and its export growth has rebounded. From January to May, Zhejiang’s export growth rate was 0.2% higher than the national’s export growth rate, ranking first in the trade surplus.
This fair is a concrete action to fully implement the spirit of important instructions on stabilizing foreign trade and innovating exhibition service models. It aims to help enterprises deal with the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic and expand international economic and trade cooperation.
